The Pawfessor Sandals Dog Boots should fit snugly. For some dogs, it may take a slight squeeze to get the paw through the opening but once in, the paw will spread out in the cavity of the boot. Less movement means more comfort for your dog. It will feel more natural and there will not be any excess weight on the paws. 

Size 1 - Inner width 3 cm, Inner length 4.5 cm

Size 1 for 1.3 - 2.8 cm paw width, approx. 2 - 3 kg - Usually fits breeds like Chihuahua, small Toy Poodle, Pomeranian, Papillon, and Yorkie.

Size 2 - Inner width 3.5 cm, Inner length 5 cm

Size 2 for 2.8 - 3.3 cm paw width, approx. 3 - 5 kg - Usually fits breeds like Toy Poodle, Bichon Frise , Havanese, Maltese, Maltipoo, and Coton de Tular.

Size 3 - Inner width 4 cm,   Inner length 5.5 cm

Size 3 for 3.5 - 3.8 cm paw width, approx. 5 - 7kg - Usually fits bigger Shih Tzu, Terriers, Pugs, Sheltie, small Westie and Schnauzer.

Size 4 - Inner width 4.5 cm

Size 4 for 3.9 - 4.4 cm paw width, approx. 7 - 11 kg - Usually fits breeds like Shiba Mame, Dachshund, Frenchie, smaller Corgi, Beagle, Mini Schnauzer, Cockerpoo, Spitz, Cavapoo and Westie.

Size 6 for paw width 5 - 5.5 cm, approx. 14 - 20 kg - Usually fits breeds like Aussie Shepard, Singapore Special, Standard Poodle, smaller Golden Retriever and Labrador, Goldendoodle and Labradoodle.

Size 8  for 6 - 6.4 cm paw width, approx. 22 - 36 kg - Usually fits breeds like Chow Chow, Goldendoodle, Golden Retriever, Labrador, Bernese Mountain Dog.

Size 9 - Inner width 7 cm

Size 9 for 6.5 - 6.9 cm paw width, approx. 36 - 45 kg - Usually fits breeds like bigger Golden Retriever, Huskies and German Shepherd.

Measuring tip

Have your dog standing and place their paw on a sheet of paper. Mark the back of the rear paw pad and the tip of the longest claw, and the sides of the paw. Do not leave any buffer. Measure both lengths to compare with the size guide. 

Use the paw measurements to confirm our suggested size for your dog's breed and weight. If it doesn't match, message us for assistance.

If the paw measurements and suggested size for your dog's breed and weight differ by more than a size up/down, the measurements are likely incorrect. For example, a 8kg pup's paw cannot be a large size.

How to put on Pawfessor Sandals Dog Boots

Getting a dog used to wearing shoes is a process. It is very normal to see an amusing high-step in the beginning. This is because they can’t feel the floor and it throws off their coordination. They need time to re-coordinate themselves. It may even take getting them outside and on with the walk before they start to realize that they can in fact walk and run as usual.

• For dogs with dewclaws, make sure that they are sitting comfortably inside the wellies or in between the slits. Ensure that nothing is rubbing against them that may cause abrasion
• When first using the Pawfessor Sandals Dog Boots, keep the walks short (15-20 min) to help your pup get comfortable in their new boors. In the event of abrasion, you can also spot it early and readjust accordingly

You can also come by to exchange the size within 14 days from date of purchase. The boots must be in original condition, unworn outside, free of fur, and back in their original packaging. We recommend opening and trying just one piece first on both the front and back paws to reduce the risk of accidental scratches or bite marks.

Yes! Our retail store is at 2 Jalan Lokam, #01-07, Kensington Square . You can drop by with your dog for a fitting!

Got the wrong size? No worries!

You can exchange it within 14 days from the date of purchase. The dog shoes must be in original condition, unworn outside, free of fur and blemish, and back in their original, untorn packaging.

We recommend opening and trying just one piece first on both the front and back paws to reduce the risk of accidental scratches or bite marks.

Direct exchange can be done at Waku Waku Pets (Retail Store) or you can arrange deliveries both ways at your own cost.
